Featured Artist — Women & Icons

Sorany Gutierrez was selected as one of 12 artists for Women & Icons, a large-scale, multi-year exhibition and performance initiative presented by the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.

Developed over two years, the project explored representations of women across cultures and time, culminating in a photographic exhibition and live performance elements curated by Kristin Colaneri.

Sorany's work continues to be presented in collaboration with leading cultural organizations across Dallas and internationally.
